Our Mercedes-AMG ML 63 x Motocrane Hyper is the pinnacle combination of strength and speed for large camera packages on streets and moderate off-road terrain.
The Hyper arm carries up to 120 lb on a 14 ft boom and is rated for vehicle speeds over 100 mph. It is paired with the Motocrane Titan remote head (90 lb payload), so DPs can fly almost any camera and lens combination.
MotoCrane Hyper is a no-compromise remote arm built for the biggest camera packages in the world. A lightweight, internally reinforced aluminum turret and tall z-axis bracing keep the arm stiff, while braided steel turnbuckles reduce flex under heavy acceleration, cornering and braking.
With 6000W of combined peak power, the Swing axis produces 4000 ft-lbs of torque and completes a full 360° revolution in under 5.5 seconds, with unlimited rotation. Power, video and comms pass through the slip ring, including up to 50 amps of accessory power and a 3G-SDI video feed.
Our Hyper is integrated with a Mercedes-AMG ML 63 tracking vehicle and the Motocrane Titan remote head. The interior has four SmallHD Cine 13 4K monitors, a Cine 18 4K monitor for the rear cargo passenger and a 5" reference monitor for the driver. It is ideal for fast on-road locations and moderate off-road conditions.
