Shoot on the DJI RS 4 Pro, DJI's flagship handheld gimbal for mirrorless and cinema camera setups. Its carbon fibre axis arms carry a tested payload of 4.5 kg (10 lb) with 20% more motor torque than the RS 3 Pro, and automated axis locks and second-generation native vertical shooting are built in.
Our kit is the RS 4 Pro Combo, adding the DJI Focus Pro Motor for motorized lens control and the Ronin Image Transmitter for live view on the gimbal's touchscreen or a phone. The BG30 battery grip runs up to 13 hours per charge.

The DJI RS 4 Pro is DJI's flagship three-axis handheld gimbal, built on carbon fibre axis arms with a tested payload of 4.5 kg (10 lb), enough for mainstream mirrorless and cinema camera setups. Motor torque is up 20% on all three axes over the RS 3 Pro, and Teflon-coated axes, dual roll bearings and a tilt fine-tuning knob make balancing fast and precise. Automated axis locks release the gimbal at power-on and lock it again for storage.
Native vertical shooting lets you switch from horizontal to vertical framing on the gimbal's own plate with no extra brackets. The Combo adds the DJI Focus Pro Motor and the Ronin Image Transmitter, which sends a live camera view to the RS 4 Pro's OLED touchscreen or to a phone in the Ronin app. The gimbal also integrates with DJI Transmission and the optional DJI Focus Pro LiDAR, and the BG30 grip recharges in about 1.5 hours.
The RS 4 Pro suits solo operators and small crews on commercials, documentaries, music videos and events, plus vertical deliverables for social platforms. Car Mount mode handles vehicle tracking shots, the briefcase handle covers low-angle moves, and the RS SDK opens up jibs, sliders and cable cams.
