The Chiopt Xtreme 28-85mm T3.2 is a full-frame cinema zoom covering the focal lengths you reach for most, wide enough for a room and long enough for a clean close-up, with the aperture held at T3.2 across the whole range.
It's parfocal, so focus holds while you zoom, and breathing is kept low for clean pulls. Standard 0.8 MOD gears, a 114 mm front for clamp-on matte boxes and a long 288° focus throw make it easy to build into any pro rig.
The Xtreme 28-85mm is a working zoom for narrative, commercial and documentary shoots. Its 46 mm image circle covers full-frame sensors, and on Super 35 cameras like the RED Komodo-X it frames a little tighter.
The lens comes in PL mount, with swappable Canon EF and Sony E mounts available. Focus is marked in feet and metres, the 0.8 MOD gears work with standard follow focus and lens motor systems, and close focus is 0.4 m (15.7") from the front of the lens.
At 2.7 kg it's a solid piece of glass. On lighter camera bodies, use the built-in foot with a lens support.
