Shoot large format with the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF. Its 4.5K ALEV III large-format sensor delivers 14+ stops of dynamic range with ARRI's signature colour science and natural skin tones, recording ARRIRAW or Apple ProRes internally.
The compact 2.6 kg body adds built-in motorized ND filters, an LPL mount and the MVF-2 viewfinder, so the large-format look fits on gimbals, cranes, arm cars and handheld rigs.

The ALEXA Mini LF puts ARRI's large-format ALEV III sensor in the compact ALEXA Mini body. With 4448 x 3096 photosites and a 44.71 mm image circle, it gives you the shallow depth of field and wide field of view of large format, with the same colour science, skin tones and highlight roll-off that made ALEXA the industry standard. Exposure latitude is more than 14 stops from EI 160 to 3200, with a base sensitivity of EI 800.
It records MXF/ARRIRAW and MXF/Apple ProRes (4444 XQ, 4444 and 422 HQ) to Codex Compact Drives, at up to 40 fps in 4.5K open gate, 60 fps in 4.5K 2.39:1 and UHD, and up to 100 fps in Super 35 ProRes HD. Three built-in motorized ND filters (0.6, 1.2 and 1.8) let you control exposure without changing glass filters.
On set, the MVF-2 viewfinder gives the operator a high-contrast OLED eyepiece and a 4" flip-out monitor, and the camera runs from 11–34V DC. The LPL mount takes large-format glass like ARRI Signature Primes, and PL lenses fit with an adapter. At about 2.6 kg, the Mini LF is light enough for gimbals, Steadicam, cranes and arm cars.
